This is from a few weeks ago. Jacey had her first time out! She stayed there the whole minute, screaming of course. You would have thought we stapled her to the floor as loud as she was. What did she do to have to go to time out....That would be because she would not stop throwing a fit and decided that banging her head into the floor was a good idea. I think we have a VERY strong will child on our hands. We love her anyway and love the blessing she is to us!

Raiderland Fun
We went to our first Texas Tech game with Jacey, and let me just say it was HOT!!!! I have heard that it was 130 on the field...we were 10 rows from that. Yuck, no wonder I wanted to pass out! There were several people that actually did, but I got in the shade before that happened. I am such a pansy in the heat! Other than burning up, we had a great time! We went to Lubbock on Friday and stayed until Monday since it was Labor Day weekend. I am sad that we didn't get to see more friends and family, but maybe next game we will. I found out that it is very different and a little difficult having a little one due to planning around her schedule. Oh well, I wouldn't have it any other way! Jacey was the lucky one of the family. She spent her first Tech game in style and got to sit in the suite with Aunt Elaine, Uncle Steve and my mom. I am so very glad that she was able to do that. Thanks again Aunt Elly and Uncle Steve! Mom said she was the official greeter since she loves to tell everyone "Hi"!!!! I doubt they got to watch too much of the game, but they seldom ever do anyway. ;) I worried that she would bother those who actually did want to watch the game, but they all said she was fine. Thank goodness!!! Mom also said she loved the Masked Rider running the field and of course the band. She nods her head and shimmys her shoulders! She loves music! Here are a few pics from the tailgate. I am sad I didn't get any of Aunt Elaine and Uncle Steve...will do better next time!
Daddy and Jacey! Aren't the cute in their matching Red Raider gear!

Long TIme No See
I feel like it has been forever since I have posted anything. Guess you could say things have been busy around here. Plus Jacey really doesn't like Mommy paying more attention to the computer than to her! ;) These are just some random pics that I choose to share.
This was Jacey at the Aquarium. She was more interested in checking out her feet rather than looking at all the neat birds and scenery! haha I know she is probably too little to really enjoy it anyway, but we still had fun. She did like the shark tank which is the picture below this one!
Here she is practicing her cheerleading pose at Nonnie's!
I just love this little outfit that her great aunts got her for her birthday! We had to pose in the backyard at Nonnie's and show it off. Thank you Aunt Jim and Aunt Carolyn!
We went to Dallas Memorial Day weekend and had some good fun family time. We went to the Dallas Aquarium, went shopping, swam, and had pictures done by the amazing Kristy!

This was Jacey's very first time in a big pool. I am not really sure she was all that thrilled. She enjoyed it for about five minutes then she wanted to do everything on her own. She didn't want Daddy holding on to her and she didn't want to be in her float either! Miss Independence, you say? Um yea, afraid so.

Jacey's 1st Birthday Party!!!
Jordan and Jacey at the craft table. Jordan loved the dinosaur stickers as you can see! We had planned to have a bounce house outside for the kiddos but the rain put a stop to that plan. It might have been a little crowed and crazy in the house, but we still had fun anyway!
Sweet Miss Lexi! Isn't she the cutest thing! She is Nicola and Brandon's little one. I hope that she and Jacey will grow up being the best of friends!

Picture of all the presents! Jacey got so much stuff, and has been having a ball with all the toys and looking really cute in all the clothes she got too!

9-12 Months
Sorry I have not been the best blogger here lately. I will try to do better. Here are her 9-12 month pictures. As you can see, it got much more difficult every month to get her picture without her wanting to grab the little sign. I wish I would have kept up with what she was doing each month, but sad to say I did not.
I chose this one because she had discovered how to clap and it really showed her personality for that time. She still loves to clap. If she hears clapping on tv she will most of the time stop what she is doing and start clapping! Pretty darn cute. ;)

Hana and Nonnie were here when we were trying to get this picture...as you can see, she was very excited they were there! This one is probably my favorite of all the months. She just looks so happy!
We had a REALLY hard time with this one. I doesn't match the rest of the pictures very well, but it sure is a sweet smile!
Jacey was more interested in pulling her bow off in the majority of all the pictures I took for this month....I just can't believe how much she has grown and how fast time has gone by. She is the most precious thing in the world to her daddy and me. We just love her so much and have been having a blast with her. She is such a special gift from up above! Thank you Jesus for blessing us with this sweet little girl!!!!

8 Months!
I am sorry I am late getting this on here, we didn't forget, just didn't get a chance to spend time getting this posted. I added quite a few pictures to make up for it! :)
I realize this is not really the best picture, but you would not believe how hard of a time we had getting a picture this time. All she wanted to do was grab the sign and try to tear it up or put it in her mouth. This is about as good as it got.
Jacey Kate is 8 months old now! My how the time has gone by. Sometimes it seems like we were just bringing her home and then other times that seems like it was years ago. Jacey is really starting to show her personality and is such a ray of sunshine in our lives! We love you so much sweet girl!
Here is what Jacey has been up to the past month:
- Learned to shake her head "no" ! Yes, already! I am not too sure she really knows what she is doing because some time she does it for no reason at all, but a lot of times is when she is not happy!
- She had her first cold where she ran a fever and daddy had to stay home with her for two days. I do not have any vacation time left because of my maternity leave so daddy got to stay home with her. I got to come home and check on her throughout the day though.
- Army crawling everywhere at a little faster pace! She is loving the presents under the tree, and getting into everything!
- Eating more and more all the time. We are still nursing, but supplementing with bottles too.
- Wearing 6-9 month clothes, getting to be more and more just 9 month though...my baby girl is just growing too fast!
-Started wearing size 3 diapers
- Sitting up really good all on her own and not falling over anymore
- Finally got her first tooth! It has just now broke through the gum and showing itself!
- Hold her own bottle now and sucking in down in no time!
Aunt Elaine got her this cute little outfit. Her shirt says Dear Santa, I am doing the best I can! She wore it to go Christmas shopping thie past weekend with Nonnie.

This is not the Christmas card picture, but close....just a different pose. I wish I was a better photographer, but this is about as good as it got. It was a little difficult to get a good one, as you can see here she was more interested in grabbing the ornaments and not looking at me and if she did look at me she was not smiling. I did finally get one of her smiling at me though, and that it what you will see on the Christmas card.
Another outfit I almost let her outgrow. I don't know why I keep doing this...maybe that is a hint that she has too many clothes......nah, never!
Aunt KiKi got me this cute hat. Jacey says. "Thanks Aunt KiKi! Isn't it so cute on me!"
Jacey and Nanny at Thanksgiving at Aunt KiKi's. We had lots of fun and ate lots of good food! Thank you Aunt KiKi for opening up your new home for us all to come and enjoy some good family time! We had a blast and we love your new home.

G-Pa and his Ram!
Craig ,G-Pa and Kyle went on a hunt this past weekend and look what G-Pa got! I can't remember the exact name of the kind of ram this is, but anyway here is a picture of it. Kyle video taped the hunt and did a great job. It was fun to watch the boys go on their hunt. The place seemed to be really neat. It was somewhere around Moody where Kyle lives.
Birthday Boys
I am sad I am really late getting something posted for Uncle Kyle and Craig's birthdays. I planned on me and Jacey making them a card like we have in the past, but it just never happened. I have had a few too many things going on, and that is just one of the things that didn't get done. Sorry Uncle Kyle and Daddy! We did get to go to Kyle's this weekend and had a lot of fun. Craig and Kyle were feeling a little old and tired after their hunt so here they are playing on the walker! haha

7 Months
I know I probably say this every month, but I can't believe our sweet baby is 7 months old already! We are a little late getting this posted because we left for Kyle's Friday afternoon, and I didn't have time to post it before we left. We had a little bit more of a hard time getting a picture made this time. She kept reaching for her little sign and trying to put it in her mouth. Usually I take about 10 pictures or more to have plenty to choose from, but not this time. I was lucky to get just 3! Here is what she is up to now...
- Started saying "Da-Da" Craig loves every bit of that and likes rubbing it in too!
- Sleeping through the night a lot more often. Every now and the she wakes up once, but I can handle that. More cuddeling time for me!
- Still wearing size 2 diapers and mostly all 6-9 month clothes. There are a few 3-6 months things that she can still wear.
- Almost sitting up on her own. She can for about a minute now then she falls over. Poor thing has a little bit of a big head and it causes her to topple over sometimes!
- Still rolling all over the place, not crawling yet. Got on one knee the other day, so maybe it won't be too long before she is really mobile!
- She is doing the funniest thing with her face...she wrinkles her nose up and blows in and out her nose real fast...it is pretty cute! Craig's mom said he did the same thing when he turned a year old! Crazy how even expressions are passed on to our little ones!
- Really interested in just about anything you put in front of her. Especially phones, napkins, and remote controls just to name a few.
- Her hair is growing more and more. Some days it looks light brown and some days it looks a little red. Gets that from her daddy!
We love you so much Jacey Kate, and we are having so much fun watching you grow! It goes way too fast sometimes though.

Chunky Monkey!
Oh this costume made me laugh! This is our little chunky monkey! Isn't she just too cute. I had to put the bow on her so there was no mistaking that this was a little girl in there! haha We had a fun first Halloween. We went to our church in Vernon to the "Trunks or Treat". It was real cute. There were a bunch of cars lined up that had decorated the trunks of their cars and were passing out candy. Aunt Virginia was there and had the cutest trunk by far! From there, we went out to the 4-H barn for the Camp Fire Halloween Carnival. This was mostly for Jordan to play games, but we did get to show Jacey off a little bit too! Then of course we took Jordan trick or treating down Paradise street. It was crazy to me how much trick or treating has changed. There just aren't many houses that participate anymore. Sad. I guess everyone just goes and does the activities at church which are probably safer anyway!

Catching up!
I am so sorry it has been so long since I have put up a post of what Miss Jacey Kate has been up to these days. We have been out of town a lot the past few weekends which has not given me much time to get anything done around the house or to do any blogging! I have been taking pictures though! Enjoy!...
It seems as though Jacey has discovered her tongue! She has been sticking it out a lot here lately. It cracks me up every time. I managed to catch her in action! haha
She was having a ball in her jumper. She was jumping and spinning and squealing and just loving every minute of it!
This is what I look like when Daddy feeds me! hahaha
This is my precious angel when she wakes up in the morning! This is the sweet face I see every time I go in her room to get her. She is such a happy little girl! I will never forget how special it is every morning when I get to hold her and love on her very first thing in the morning. She makes every morning wonderful! Oh, how I love my baby girl! =)

Just a random picture of her playing in the exersaucer. She loves this little toy too!

She has started sleeping in her room and loving it. She had been sleeping at the end of our bed in her bassinet every since she was born, but we finally decided to try her out in her room. It was hard the first few nights. I missed having her close, and I got up probably every couple of hours and went to check on her.
