Another Good Weekend!!

Jacey apparently likes her Mommy's singing! I was singing "Jesus Loves Me" to her and she was just smiling the whole time. It was a precious moment that I won't forget! She is such a precious baby, and then she does things like this........(see below)

The little toot has found her thumb!!! Mommy and Daddy aren't real thrilled, but what do ya do! We have tried to introduce the paci on several occasions, but she just doesn't seem to like it too much. She is still precious and I have to admit it makes me laugh. I just hope it is a habit that she will get rid of before too long...somehow I doubt it though.

Happy 3 Month Birthday!!!

My precious little angel is 3 months old today! I can hardly believe it! She is so much fun and just wonderful as she could be. I am so lucky to be this little girl's mommy. She is getting so big. I think it is pretty clear to see that she likes her mommy's milk! haha

Jacey is still wearing her 3-6 months clothes and in size 1 diapers. There are a few 3 month outfits that she can't wear anymore and that makes me sad, but it is fun to see her grow too. I am pretty sure that the next diapers I buy are going to have to be size 2. She is still making her funny machine gun sounds but not as much. She seems like she is moving those little arms and legs all the time! Craig and I tease that she is practicing writing her name in mid air with those little arms flapping so much. She is holding her head up great and really likes her tummy time. She still LOVES her swing! She did do something new yesterday.....she found her thumb!!!! I was not too excited about it. I don't know why, but I have just really not wanted her to be a thumb sucker. If she does it will be just fine. I guess I can say I just won't encourage it. =) I have tried to stick a paci in her mouth a few more times, but she just hasn't cared for it too much. I am not going to force the issue. We just give it a try every now and then. I am convinced that Jacey has been trying to talk to us. A lot of times when she is cooing we will talk to her and she just coos back and smiles and sometimes even squeaks! It is so precious and so much fun! I think she is trying so hard to laugh too, that is usually when the squeak comes out! Jacey is also doing great with sleeping most of the night. We still have a few nights a week when she wakes up once during the night, but mostly on the weekends she is a good girl and sleeps all night long! I am excited to see what all she is going to be doing new by her next month birthday!

Fun at the Lake!

We had another great weekend at the lake with Nonnie and Meme. We also got to introduce Jacey to some more of her family that she had not met yet over at Patsy and Carl's. We had a great time. I will have to post some pictures from that too in the near future. I hope to post some from the Lane reunion soon too!

Weekend at Nonnie's

Jacey thinks her Meme is pretty interesting! She just smiled away when Meme held her. I don't know who was having more fun, Jacey or Meme!

We had so much fun at Nonnie's this past weekend! Jacey was such a good girl. She even slept all night long both nights! Momma enjoyed the rest. Thanks Nonnie for a great weekend! We look forward to many more to come!

Hey there everyone! Have you been missing your Jacey fix! Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I guess the evenings have been kinda busy and my darn foot has been hurting so much that I just haven't made the time to do any blogging. Sorry about that. (have no idea what is wrong with my foot, just hurts really bad in the afternoons...may be a bone spur or something, who knows) Anyway, these are just some random pictures that I have chosen to share. I am sad to say I don't have a Father's Day picture. Craig didn't want me to take his picture because we had a lazy day and he was looking kinda scruffy :) He said it was a perfect day though and he had it all remembered in his head. Oh well, I tried! He did have a great first Father's Day!

I thought this was a cute picture and it shows off her room a little bit. One of these days I will have to take some pictures of her nursery and post them for those of you that have not been here to see it! It is really PINK!

This picture makes me laugh. Her little head poking up over her bumbo chair is just too cute. She and her grandma are watching a Baby Einstein movie. I think she likes it, she is starting to pay more attention to it.

Jacey's little smile just warms my heart. I think about it during the day when I am at work and it just makes me smile every time! She sometimes smiles real big and scrunches her nose up... that is my favorite. I haven't caught a good one of those on camera yet.

Now this is a little girl who LOVES her swing. Sometimes I think she likes it better than me, but there are some times when she does just want to be held too, and I certainly don't mind!

My Precious Girl

Jacey was just too cute today in her little polo outfit that I couldn't resist taking some pictures! My sweet friends the Neugebauer's (the family I babysat for in college) sent her this precious little outfit. Thank you Toby, Melissa, Nate and Noah!

Happy Family

Well, I finally managed to get Daddy on the blog, but haven't managed to get a picture of the three of us together. I know there are some, but they aren't the greatest pictures. Will have to work on that one!

We were on our way to go view a few of the Parade of Homes on Saturday. It was really hot. We didn't see too many, but Jacey was super good. She and Momma found their future dream home! yeah right...I say that every year, we just have fun looking! Hope you all enjoy these!

2 Month Birthday!!

Happy 2 Month Birthday Jacey Kate! I can't believe 2 months have already gone by. You are growing so fast! Daddy and I have loved every second of having you here with us, and are enjoying watching you grow!
Jacey is just about holding her head up on her own. We still have a little bit of a bobble head! She is wearing most all of her 3 month outfits now. There are a couple newborn ones that she can fit into, but not many! Mommy doesn't like that part. I love to see her in her new clothes, but there are some too that I wasn't ready to give up on just yet. She has really started smiling a lot! That is so much fun to see! I think she is a very happy baby! The sign for being hungry is smacking on her fist! That is how she wakes us up at night...either that or her machine gun noise! She doesn't cry much at all, just when she is really hungry and mommy is taking too long! She is sleeping through most of the night, just wakes up once around 4. I don't want to speak too early but for now it is safe to say Jacey is a very good baby!

Precious Jacey Kate

This past weekend we tried tummy time for the first time. I think she liked it! We had so much fun just talking, and we read a couple of books and she was just content the whole time.

Now if this doesn't make you smile then there is something wrong with you! She has really started smiling a lot here lately. Look at those chubby cheeks! Her smiles make our heart melt!

Jacey and her G-Pa. This is from when Jacey came home from the hospital. She looks so tiny then compared to all her pictures now. It is hard to remember her being that small. She just got way too big way too fast!

A couple of weekends ago we went to the lake for the first time. Jacey's little outfit matched the bed, so of course we had to take some pictures. I didn't get any very good ones but she is still cute! jacey did great this weekend at the lake. We had a good time just chilling out and enjoying the pretty weather!

Happy First Mother's Day To Me!!

4 Generations!

We spent our Mother's Day at Possum Kingdom! We had a nice relaxing weekend (besides the one night that Jacey cried from about 10 at night to 4 in the morning). Needless to say mommy was a little bit tired on Mother's Day, but we still had a good time.

What joy it has been to be a mom! There is nothing like it in the world. It is still sometimes hard to believe she is really mine sometimes when I look at her. (Sounds kinda dumb, I know)

Jacey and Heidi

Heidi was feeling left out, so she got in on a few poses with Jacey in her Red Raider outfit. Jacey was not making the best face in any of them, but oh well they are still cute anyway!

Bumbo Time

These were taken about 3 or 4 weeks ago, but I thought I needed to share Jacey's first time in her Bumbo chair. I think she kinda liked it. She didn't scream, so that is always a good sign! These pictures crack me up because her facial expressions are so different in all of them. Hard to tell who she looks like most. I think she is a good mixture of us both. Gotta say I see a little bit of Grandaddy in her! She makes a lot of her Uncle Kyle's facial expressions too!

Jordan and Jacey

Jordan wasn't really sure what he thought of Jacey the first time he saw her. He actually hid behind Mom's leg at first. It wasn't until the next day that he would even get close to her, and then he finally asked to hold her. Here are the results! How cute is this. Jordan has the best smile. He will definitely be a heart breaker some day!

My New Niece! - Bella

Craig's sister finally got her new little puppy! She is an English Bulldog and is absolutly precious! We had a lot of fun playing with her this past weekend. Welcome to the family Miss Bella!

Aunt Burt Comes to Visit

We were so excited to see Brittany for the first time!! Jacey loves her Aunt Burt! Thanks for coming Burt, and thanks for all the goodies too. We are glad you finally made it safely and didn't blow away in the storms!

1 Month

Miss Jacey Kate is 1 month old! It is so hard to believe that she is already a month old. She is growing so fast. She is not wearing too many of her premie outfits anymore, and it makes me sad. I guess it is good that she is a growing healthy girl! I intend to do this every month using the same pose, so we can see how much she is changing. She was not too excited to do this, so it is maybe not the greatest picture...it beats the others that she is screaming in though! :)

Aunt Missy is here!

Aunt Missy came to visit and meet Miss Jacey for the first time! We had so much fun loving on her together. Thank you sister for coming. You will be such a fun aunt!

Welcome Home Baby Jacey

Nonnie had this cute stork put in our yard for us to see when we came home and to announce to the world that Miss Jacey had arrived. It was so cute! Thanks Mom!

Grandaddy Kiss

You can barely see it, but the doctor told us Jacey had a little bit of a birthmark in between her eyes. He said that it was called an angel kiss birthmark and that they usually go away, but we have renamed it as her Grandaddy Kiss birthmark. I am sure that Dad was the angel that kissed her before she was sent down to us! It makes me smile every time I see it...and sometimes cry too, but I mostly smile. I know he is smiling down on her and is very proud!

Hello World!!!

Jacey Kate Andrew has made her arrival! She came into the world straight from heaven on April 13, 2009 weighing 7 lbs and 3 ounces and measuring 20 1/4 inches long! She is so precious! We have been enjoying every minute of her. After many request for pictures, I thought I would try this blogging stuff...we will see how it goes!
